一个学期选多少门课好？这个问题咨询你的师哥、师姐往往就能得到靠谱的答案，不过，想提醒大家，一定要考虑到自己的现实状况后再做决定。
比如，刚接触全英文教学时（第一学期），我们的沟通能力较弱、写essay还较为生疏，这时就不应该选过多的课。
合理的做法是在学校允许的范围内少选1-2门课，这样，我们不仅能在学业上更游刃有余，还可获得更多的时间适应大学生活、广交朋友。

2：关注成绩构成
在看课程大纲时，同学们特别关心的往往是上课时间、阅读书目、学分数量等等。其实，还有一点值得我们重视，那就是期末成绩构成（Assessment）。
在澳大利亚，不同课程的Assessment差距很大。有些课，平时成绩+课堂讨论+presentation占了期末分数的绝大部分，甚至连final exam都没有。
还有一些课相反，final exam的成绩占了大家期末分数的大头，几乎是“一考定输赢”。给大家的建议是，这两类课要搭配着选。
也就是说，我们的选课列表中两类课程的数量应该较为均衡。这样，我们就能避免出现期末手忙脚乱的情况，学习压力会被“分摊”到整个学期。

3：关注你的professor
就算评分标准再客观，那分也是人给的，我们上课前得好好了解一下自己的教授。一个简单粗暴的方法：谷歌TA的名字即可。
我们需要了解的是他的研究领域及教育背景。如果他的研究领域和你的兴趣一致，那选他的课一般错不了。在他的课堂上，我们往往会有更高的参与度，期末成绩也会更好。
当然，向师哥师姐打听他的授课风格、给分高低也很重要，这点相信大家都懂的。
4：试听+辅导会都别错过
在新生入学的first week，往往学院会举办一个选课辅导会，这个活动建议大家准时参加。为大家进行选课辅导的都是学院的大牛博士生，听了就有收获。
除了选课辅导会，课程试听也要积极参与，并且建议大家一堂也不要错过（自己所选的）。这个试听，可不仅仅是在听课。大家会在一个完整的教学周内体验新学期的学习、生活节奏。
在这一周，同学们会发现比如说“两个教学楼离得太远，课间赶不过去”、“午饭时间根本不够，下午饿的不行”这类之前根本发现不了的问题，并及时退课或重选。所以说，试听也别缺席哦~
5：尊重作息规律
对很多习惯晚睡晚起的同学来说，选清晨的课程就不太明智。就算咱们能在7点起床，整个上午的精神状态却无法保证，这对于听讲效率非常不利。
而对于习惯早睡早起的同学来说，选晚上9点后下课的course会打乱咱们的生物钟。回去写着写着作业就往往到了半夜12点，玩玩手机、洗个澡就后半夜了。
所以说，选课前也要考虑自己的作息规律，确保上课时间自己的精神状态是较好的。

新南威尔士大学研究生申请条件
一、学术要求
申请新南威尔士大学研究生课程，必须完成校方认可的学士学位（或同等学历），这是硬性要求。每个专业的录取分数有所不同，在2020年录取分数有所下降，Master of Engineering, Master of Engineering Science, Master of Information Technology从75分降到65分。对于中国211/985的申请学生，分数要求降低至72%，非211/985申请要求降低至76%。70%以上可尝试申请！
硕士课程大部分都有专业限制，如精算、IT、医学等要求有同一或同源专业背景，金融、精算等专业还对学生的数学和统计能力有一定要求；商科专业大多要求提供不低于550分的GMAT成绩；MBA课程有2年及以上管理工作经验要求；设计、建筑等课程有作品集要求。
二、语言条件
英文要求是软性要求，未达标可以通过完成语言班来补足。疫情下，可以接受雅思在线考试、托福在线考试或者多邻国考试。
1、基础条件：雅思IELTS总分6.5、单项不低于6.0；或者托福iBT总分90、写作23、其他22；或者托福pBT总分577、TWE最低5.0。
